Assessing the social implications of senior energy poverty. The Spanish case

SENIOVERTY aims to analyze energy poverty among people over 65 in Spain, assessing its social impact, the specific characteristics of this population, and the effectiveness of current policies. Given the aging population trend, the study is relevant for anticipating future challenges and designing effective strategies. Additionally, it project the evolution of this issue over the next decade and estimate the public budget needed to support this vulnerable group, aiming to inform policies that promote energy justice.
